Rilbong's centenary celebrations came alive with food, music and community participation as the Rilbong Food Fest brought together participants and families to celebrate the locality's 100- year journey on Saturday. Held as part of the Rilbong 100 Years celebrations (1926-2026), the food festival featured competitions across a range of categories, alongside music, games and activities for children and adults. The participants competed in several categories, including chicken, mutton, fish, vegetarian, pork, dry fish and kheer categories, showcasing a wide variety of culinary skills. In the chicken category, Nayanika, Jolan M Nongkoum and Jayashree Dhar secured the top positions, with Bimol Sutradhar receiving I the special prize. The mutton category saw Azmeena Rani, Swapna Dey and Sushit Kanti Choudhury among the winners, while Mamata Ghosh, Mitali Ghosh and Shatarupa Chakraborty
